Mr. Flynn received his degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1985, and his degree of Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude, from the University of North Texas in 1980. He is licensed in Texas and focuses his practice on real estate and corporate transactions. Mr. Flynn’s experience encompasses more than 25 years of practicing law as a real estate attorney. Client representation includes purchasers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of improved and unimproved real estate, office and shopping center lease negotiations, drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, development agreements, loans secured by real estate, asset acquisitions, reorganizations, loan work-outs, title review, foreclosures and general corporate work.
Mr. Mastrogiovanni earned his bachelor’s degree, with high honors, from the University of Tulsa in 1983, and his Juris Doctorate from Tulsa University in 1986. He is licensed to practice in all state courts of the State of Texas, United States Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas, United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mastrogiovanni has been named a Texas Super Lawyer by the Thomson Reuters service every year starting in 2004 through and including 2014, and holds the AV preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, its highest ethical and quality rating available. In 2009, Mr. Mastrogiovanni acted as lead plaintiff’s counsel in a suit listed in The Texas Lawyer publication of Top Texas Verdicts and in 2014 was included in the Texas Top Lawyer listing as published by ALM.
Mr. Mersky received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1979, where he graduated Cum Laude and Order of the Coif. Mr. Mersky received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1975 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, with Departmental Honors. Mr. Mersky is licensed to practice law in Texas and Pennsylvania, and carries the highest ethical and quality ratings provided by Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Mersky is widely recognized as an expert in commercial real estate matters. He has provided services to public and private companies involving properties located throughout the United States. Mr. Mersky served as lead counsel on a $275 million real estate transaction which was featured in Texas Lawyer, a statewide Texas legal publication of ALM. He has spoken frequently at continuing legal education seminars in Texas and throughout the United States in the area of commercial real estate.
Charles E. (Chuck) Woods
Mr. Woods is a civil litigator who has worked on bankruptcy collection work and family law matters for his entire legal career of over twenty-five years. He himself has been through a divorce with a child at issue and brings that sensitivity to bear on all his family law work. Mr. Woods earned his AB bachelor’s degree, in economics, from the preeminent economics and business school in the country at the University of Chicago in 1979. He lettered in baseball and football and played semi-pro baseball during some summers. He earned an MBA degree in 1980 also from the University of Chicago after early admittance in his junior year of college. After working in finance in the corporate world, Mr. Woods obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University in 1988. He is licensed to practice in state courts of the State of Texas, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. In addition to numerous civic volunteer activities, Mr. Woods has faithfully served on the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee and comports his honesty and ethics in a high degree.
